Toolbar options

Overview page: Click Overview to view a chart that can display weekly, monthly, or yearly activity for your site. You'll also see totals and averages for visits, unique visits, and overall site activity.

Reports page: Click Reports to view and create custom reports. Reports allow you to filter the information in a way that makes sense to your class activities. You can also export data from that page.

Preferences page: Click Preferences to select which events will be displayed on the Events page, and which events will count as activity on the Overview page.

Summary of site visits

The following information is displayed on the "Visits" control from the tool Overview page:

A more detailed report can be obtained by clicking on the items above (e.g., clicking on 'Enrolled users that did not visit site' will display a report of all users that never visited the site).

Clicking the Show more link will present a chart and table view for a quick view of visits statistics. Some considerations:

Overview: Summary of activity

The following information is displayed on the "Activity" control from the tool Overview page:

A more detailed report can be obtained by clicking on the items above (e.g., clicking 'Most active user' will display a report with total activity per user, sorted by total activity).

The following information is displayed on the "Resources" control from the tool Overview page:

A more detailed report can be obtained by clicking on the items above (e.g., clicking on 'Files were opened' will display a report of all opened files with the number of times each was opened).

Reports

By default, all participants' activity is reported over the last 7 days, but the date range and they type of site member or a specific site member can be selected.

Instructors can create reports by clicking Add at the top of the Reports page's My reports section. Items that reports can be generated based on include:
